Mommy Feliz!

Hi I’m Marissa a first time mommy and recent graduate.  Last year I had a baby girl and received my M.A in Art Education focusing on museum education.  I also have studied and worked in the fashion industry.  I wanted to create Mommy Feliz to document my attempts at introducing my little one to the arts and share my findings of fun and exciting art education programs for toddlers. I will also post fashionable, functional, and fun clothing and accessories for mommy and baby.  I have decided to be a stay at home mom for awhile and I realized how easy it is to get into the habit of wearing sweats or worse stretchy pants all the time.  So this blog is also a challenge for me to stay fashionable even if it’s at the playground or in the living room reading to my daughter.  This blog will be a place for me to share my experiences, serve as an inspiration board or shopping wish list and encourage other mommies to share the arts with their babies and to be fashionable!
